My dearest friend of over 30 years got the devastating news in the past few months that her huband  had a ten centimetre tumor on his lung and that cancer was eminant.....they told them that he had they thought he had Single cell carcinoma and then they thought it could be in his Lymph system( Lymphoma)....She patiently waited for them to book a biopsy and put him in the hospital to get the full diagnosis....meanwhile this tall ( over 6 ft man) whittled down to a mere 160 pounds and fear was in her heart but, she never stopped praying to God for strength and understanding an I am sure a healing for him...
Today, Sabbath Nov. 15th 2008 , After service there was a message on my phone from her asking me to call her back as soon as I got this message...They took him in this past week and went in from two directions  to get a biopsy off this large tumor and we're unable to find any sign of it.. they took an x-ray of it again to compare to the last ones and my friend herself asked to look at it ( as she did the first one which showed the growth on his lung) and it was GONE Completely!  She asked me how could this be and in the same breath we both said ...by the grace of God ..I believe God has put a healing on him ...she says that there is one final test that was done and will be back in the next 2 weeks.

I am asking all of you to please keep our friends in your prayers during this time and to give all Praise and Glory to God for what sure appears to us as a total healing from Christ himself on this family...
Thanks for having this site to spread the works of God to others.....

Take care and God Bless ..Deborah Perry...P.S Please also pray for our friends to come  to love and honour the Lord and his Sabbath day... I am not sure of his beliefs, but I know the Holy Spirit is working in her heart on a daily basis and pray this will bring them both closer to the Lord and the Truth of His Word. Thanks for listening...

Sometimes everything happens so quickly that it is not until later that you realize all that has happened and how the Lord has worked so miraculously. What happened was only yesterday and I am still thinking over all the different details as I relate it now. The company I work for does most of its work deep in the forested mountains of British Columbia, Canada and this particular Friday I was to get to work by helicopter with the other 12 workers. We were to meet at a designated spot to board the helicopter for a short flight to the top of a nearby mountain. Late the night before the message came that the helicopter was to be earlier than expected and we would have to get there sooner than we were first told. Unfortunately the driver for our truck never received the message until he arrived at my home to pick me up for the two hour drive to the prearranged spot where we were to meet the helicopter. We were already one half an hour behind schedule as I loaded all my equipment into the truck and began the journey. Now that might not seem like too much of a deal until you know that the helicopter company charges one thousand dollars an hour to fly us to our destination! The first part of our trip went smoothly as we drove along a major highway and picked up some valuable minutes of lost time. But then we turned on to a winding logging road for the final 20 miles up the side of a mountain. The day before we had a real downpour and the roads, which are treacherous enough at the best of times, were now muddy and slippery as we went around the endless turns climbing higher and higher.

I will keep you in suspence now as to what happened next (don't peek now) while I fill in some important details which make this story even more miraculous. In the truck with me were two young men in their twenties who had been brought up as Christians and although still living at home were slowly but surely losing their Christian experience as they were tasting what the world was offering them. But even more amazing was the fact that the driver of the truck behind me was my own son who also had left behind his early Chrisitian training and is experimenting with drugs, alcohol and many of the things that satan is presenting to him as the so-called pleasures of this sinsick world. Although we worked for the same company we had not seen each other for a while as he was working in a different area of our large province and we were to work together for only this one day and then be separated again.

Back to the drive now. As we rounded another corner on our way up the mountain, still speeding trying to get to our destination on time,  the truck suddenly started sliding sideways towards a deep drop off. As the truck kept sliding I had no doubt that the truck was going over the bank and thought that I was glad to have my seat belt on and wondering how seriously I was going to be hurt. As the truck started over the bank the tires on the passenger side began to rise off the road. The front one I was later told by my son was about three feet in the air and the rear one over a foot so that both tires were off the ground at once as the truck began to tip over which would have then caused it to roll over and over until it finally came to a stop amongst the trees far down in the valley below.  Then as I was still thinking about whether I was going to be seriously injured or not the truck somehow climbed up the bank in all the mud and was back on the road. We continued on a short distance and were all so busy in preparation for the trip on the helicopter and the days work that little was said until the day was done. As we drove down the road back to our homes we slowly passed the spot were we all knew we came close to death and looked at the tire tracks realizing that there was no way we could have got out of that situation without some miraculous intervention. I wish I could relate how the Lord gave me just the right words to witness to those boys at the time but for some reason I stayed quiet as it seemed the situation was enough of a witness to all who saw it. I will continue working with these fellows for the summer and i know this was a wonderful opportunity to open the door to sharing with them God's love for them. I would appreciate your prayers of behalf of my son, Daniel, who witnessed this miracle as he had witnessed many previous miracles in his younger days growing up and which hopefully have been brought back to his attention by this occurence.
Praise God

Hollin

My name is Hollin.  My husband, three small children (ages 4 to 8 months at the time) and I were in a car accident on November 9, 2007.  We hit black ice on a nearby mountain pass.  There were two vehicles parked on the side of the road that we were sliding toward.  We hit our gas (as our van was front wheel drive) which pulled us out of it.  We had already over corrected and ended up crossing traffic (no one was coming) and went off the opposite side of the road.  We ended up rolling (one full roll to end up on our wheels) into the ditch on the side of the road.  A barbed wire fence kept us from rolling further.  Windows broke out right next to the children, my door was dented in far by a tree stump, the ceiling was caved in right in front of my oldest son’s face, etc.  It was totaled and yet none of us even had a scratch!!  The boys weren’t even crying.  We were so thankful!  We were able to get a ride home and all was fine.  Our towing bill (to the tune of nearly $500!) was covered by the insurance 100% and all we were left with was a ticket for $175 even though the officer said we had done nothing wrong and wasn’t even there to see the accident!  I contested the ticket saying that I was guilty based on the code they cited me for.  The letter back from the Judge stated that I wasn’t guilty and had no obligation to pay the ticket. Come to find out, the vehicle that was parked on the side of the road had just rolled and there were a total of 5 accidents in 30 minutes on that road that morning!
About a week and a half later I saw a nickel ad at the grocery store and for some reason picked it up.  After getting home I saw a full page car dealer ad and they actually had reasonable affordable prices although we still couldn’t afford it.  Their motto was that prices are negotiable but customer satisfaction is not.  I was impressed to email them.  I told them about our situation and accident and asked if they would be able to donate a vehicle to us.  Just a few hours later I received a call from a saleswoman there who said that our email was very touching and she would talk with the owner to see how they could help.  After a little back and forth for a week and then hearing nothing and doing A LOT of praying for another 2 weeks we got a call on a Thursday asking if we could be there the following Sunday so that they could present us with a vehicle!  So we made the long trip (nearly a 3 hour drive) with a family who was kind enough to take us.  When we got to the car dealer everyone was dressed fancy (tux’s and suits, etc) for their employee Christmas party.  The owner gave a little speech about how God had really blessed them the past year and as a token of thanks they wanted to provide us with transportation!  Everyone clapped, I cried, lots of hugs and handshakes were exchanged and they took us out to see our new van.  A 1996 Ford Windstar GL with 152,000 miles, power windows/locks, almost a full tank of gas, a fresh oil change and NEW tires – not to mention a fresh bath inside and out!  It’s a beautiful green and only has 5 blemishes on the outside that are quite small (especially compared to our old van) and only one thing that seems to be mechanically wrong - the child safety lock for the sliding door is permanently on so that you can’t open it from the inside – also nothing compared to our old van!  We are so very thankful.  It drives wonderfully and is perfect for us.  The dealer made the registration and title transfer as part of the paper work so it really was 100% free!
P.S. - God has wrought many miracles for us that deserve to be mentioned. The first van was free. God got us into an apartment without having to pay the deposit or first month’s rent.  My husband was able to find a dependable job even though we are out in the middle of nowhere.  I found hundreds of dollars worth of new Christian home-schooling books free.  We received a few hundred pounds of food free out of nowhere. We found some incredibly cheap pocket Conflict of the Ages series and pocket Bibles – a truly portable blessing.  I got to help produce a pocket size hymnal.  A friend gave us a Spirit of Prophecy vol 1-3 for free.  Every Tuesday night another family comes over and we get to read The Great Controversy together.  We received a “Closing Events Chart” about 4 foot wide and 5 ½ foot tall for free that is nearly impossible to get a hold of now.
